I have a home warrenty company and they made a call to Total Air Care back in June 2016. I admit when the 1st man Da'vid came out I paid the $75.00 and didn't have the money for the freon so I had to make another appointment after I went and borrowed $600.00 to pay for freon and the other thing. How these people are still in business is beyond me. They have no communication system. If you try to call the only way you can get through is new sales. You wait on parts for weeks even though the supply warehouse is local. Absolutely horrible, I would recommend running far away from this company. This the worst ac company I have every seen. It is the hotest month in Florida and I have not had air conditioning sice Aug 2. The have been out 5 times and every time a different part. The techs have no idea what they are doing. Never call you when the parts come in. Worst cutomer service I have ever seen. America Shield should get rid if them

We are going on a month with no AC. The homeowners insurance said we had to use them. The first week, there was no contact. The second week the AC information was received and they got in touch, came out, looked at it and said hey 2-7 days and it will be fixed. we received confirmation that the part was ordered, shipped, and received. TAC IS A RIP OFF!! I have had 5 Techs In the last 6 mos come to my home and my outside unit is still sounding like a heliocopter. The first Tech came out and shortage out the whole system by bridging a low voltage wire and a high voltage wire together that caused a FIRE on the wall near my thermostat, and caused my air handler to stop working. Long time wait on phone call and the technician came to our house to check in July and didn't do anything and now air condition is not working anymore, not recommended , never pick up phone call or return any call back on voice mail

The first time Total Air Care came out we almost had to call the police on the technician. After he said we would have to pay nearly $600 for freon and we told him we wanted to call the home owners warranty company first he threw a temper tantrum in our front yard: Screaming, banging on the front door for nearly half an hour, banging on his horn. Its been almost a month and my AC still have not been fixed. There is a wait time of about 30 minutes to speak to a scheduling person, and God knows how many times I had to call. Each time, they schedule a new tech to come to the house. Usually 3 to 5 business days. The 1st 3 were junior technicians. They showed up and took a quick look and leave. My A/C is acting up, cooling at night but not during the day. The office called to set up the appointment for a week after i submitted it to AHS. The tech came out and was outside for an hour and half said he replaced a bad run cap but he never came inside to turn the unit off.
